HOW TO "CLEAN BOOT" WINDOWS 95

1. Shutdown the computer, turn the power off and wait about 10 seconds.

2. Turn the computer on and press the F8 key when you see the message on the screen "Starting Windows 95".

3. The Microsoft Windows 95 Startup Menu appears and choices will be:
1. Normal
2. Logged (\Bootlog.TXT)
3. Safe Mode
4. Safe Mode with Network Support
5. Step-by-step Confirmation
6. Command Prompt only
7. Safe Mode Command Prompt only
8. Previous version of MS-DOS
Press "5" and "Enter"
Answer YES only to the Following questions:
Process the Registry? Y
Process your Startup Device Drivers (CONFIG.SYS)? Y
DOS=HIGH,UMB? Y
DEVICE=C:\WIN95\HIMEM.SYS? Y
DEVICE=C:\WIN95\EM386.EXE? Y
FILES= Y
DEVICE=C:\WIN95\IFSHLP.SYS? Y
Answer NO to all other questions
You will now have a "C" prompt...
Type "cd windows" and press "Enter"
Type "win" and press "Enter"
Load all windows drivers? Y
Magic!!! You are now in Windows 95...
