[CTRL C] Copy selection to the clipboard (original remains intact)
[SHIFT INSERT] Copy from the clipboard (replace any selected text)

Move a file/directory to new directory Click and drag on selected file/directory to new directory [SHIFT]
Copy a file/directory across drives Click and drag on selected file/directory to drive [CTRL]
Move a file/directory across drives Click and drag on selected file/directory to drive [SHIFT]
Select adjacent files Click on first file, then click on last file [SHIFT] when you click on last file
Select non-adjacent files Click on each file [CTRL]
